We are excited to host the CBMS 2014 at The Mount Sinai Hospital, from May 27th – 29th 2014. Mount Sinai Hospital, founded in 1852, is one of the oldest and largest teaching hospitals in the United States. In 2011-2012, Mount Sinai Hospital was ranked as one of America’s best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in 12 specialties. The Mount Sinai Medical Center is a 1,171-bed, tertiary-care teaching facility acclaimed internationally for excellence in clinical care. The Mount Sinai Medical Center encompasses The Mount Sinai Hospital and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Icahn School of Medicine
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is internationally recognized as a leader in groundbreaking clinical and basic science research and is known for its innovative approach to medical education. With a faculty of more than 3,400 in 38 clinical and basic science departments and centers, Mount Sinai ranks among the top 20 medical schools in receipt of National Institutes of Health grants. In its 2012 “America’s Best Graduate Schools” issue, U.S. News & World Report ranks the Icahn School of Medicine 18th out of 126 medical schools nationwide.
